Approximate solution of the problem (57) using the DM method, at the times \(t = 0.3\) (solid), 0.5 (dashed), 1 (dashed–dotted) and 5 (dotted). Various values of α were used, namely, (a) \(\alpha = 1.2\), (b) \(\alpha = 1.4\), (c) \(\alpha = 1.6\), and (d) \(\alpha = 1.8\). The solutions were calculated over \(\varOmega = (0, \pi )\), and using \(K = 0.1\). Computationally, we let \(h = \pi / 200\) and \(\tau = 0.016\)
